Cheryl Daugherty is the Assistant Principal in
the Curriculum Office. Mrs. Daugherty came to the
Torrance Unified School District in July 1993 after
working for 19 years in the Centinela Valley Union
High School District, where she taught English and
worked as an Associate Principal. Before coming to
Torrance High, Mrs. Daugherty has worked as an
Assistant Principal at both North and West High
School. Mrs. Daugherty received her Bachelors of
Arts degree from Pitzer College, her secondary
teaching credential from the University of
California at Berkeley, and both her Administrative
Services Credential and Master of Arts in Education
from CSU Dominguez Hills. Mrs. Daugherty, a
resident of Torrance whose twins graduated from
North High School, enjoys working at Torrance
High.
