Gina Leccese has been a member of the Tartar staff
since 1997. She began her tenure at THS as an
Athletic Trainer/EMT in the 1997-1998 school year.
After graduating from CSUDH in 1998, with a BA in
physical education teaching and sports medicine,
she began her teaching career in the fall of 1998
at Torrance High School. During her teaching career
at THS, Ms. Leccese has taught both 9th and
10th-12th physical education and Health, while
maintaining her status as the Head Athletic
Trainer/EMT of the school. Currently, Ms. Leccese
is in her 7th year of teaching, in her 3rd year as
Athletic Director and in her 8th year as Athletic
Trainer/EMT for all sport programs. On a daily
basis, she teaches health classes, manages 22
varsity athletic programs and performs her duties
as the Athletic Trainer in the afternoon.
Ms.
Leccese received her CLAD Credential from CSUDH in
2001 and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in
Physical Education/Sports Management.
