Eric
Spotts is in his third year as Activities Director
at Torrance High School. He has been in education
for 12 years, including the last 11 at Torrance
High School. He graduated with a BA in History from
UCLA in 1988 and received a MA in Education from
UCLA in 1990. During his teaching career Mr. Spotts
has taught Algebra, Pre-Algebra, World History,
U.S. History, Economics and AP Government. He is
currently teaching U.S. History in addition to the
Leadership class and coaching the boys' soccer
team. Mr. Spotts will begin his tenth year as head
coach of the boys' varsity soccer team this season.
His coaching career includes three top ten CIF
finishes highlighted by a 1997 CIF finalist and a
Bay League title in 1999.
