Book of
the Week
|
48 Shades of Brown by
Nick Earls
When his father takes a
job in Switzerland, Dan chooses to stay in
Australia for his senior year of high
school. He lives living with his
22-year-old Aunt, Jacq, a university
student, and her roommate, Naomi, an
attractive psychology major who makes bad
choices when it comes to men. Dan
instantly falls for Naomi and is
devastated when his feelings are not
returned. Extremely bright and sensitive,
Dan is still learning about women,
relationships, and controlling his
compulsive behavior. He combines his
intense curiosity about sex with a rare
thoughtfulness as he tries to figure out
who he is and who he wants to
become.
The "Book of the Week"
is available for checkout at the library
circulation desk.

Please mark your
calendars: PSAT results will be
distributed on Thursday, January 5th.
Counselors will meet with Juniors during
period 4 and sophomores and freshmen
during period 5. Well over 400 students
took this test so please expect that you
will have several students out of your
classes during those periods that day. I
will distribute a list of the students who
took the test (per grade level) and
locations for each counselor on Tuesday,
Jan. 3rd as a "Welcome Back"! Thanks for
your help with this.
