assessed for each book that is not

School: If you signed up for Torrance High
Summer School, please report to the front
of the auditorium to pick up your schedule
at 7:45 am on Tuesday, June 23 rd. This is
your only notification. Classes will begin

There are very few places offering
programs this summer so if you don't sign
up soon, you may have trouble getting in.
Torrance High will offer English 1A + B
and Algebra 1A + B in addition to classes
for students who have not yet passes the
CAHSEE.

ID to pick up. If you would like payroll

Teachers:Please xerox and distribute the
AP English summer reading homework forms
that I placed in your mailboxes. These go

school year -- I have many outstanding
certificates of absence. You don't want me
to type those over or just guess why you
were absent. You could be out on jury duty
and I would guess illness! Please return
immediately to the principal's office.

The PSAT will be given
on Sat., Oct. 17th and we will need
teachers to proctor for this test. Easy
assignment. Hours are 7:30am-noon. If you
are interested in proctoring there is a
stipend. please call Mary Dillon at
