Torrance High. We know this will be a
great year filled with strong academic

PSAT: If you registered
during summer registration your name
should appear on the PSAT lists posted on
the downstairs doors of the administration
building. Please check to be sure you are
on the list. If you know you registered
but do not see your name, see Mrs. Dillon
ASAP! The test is a Preliminary SAT
Reasoning test. Juniors planning to apply
to a 4-year college directly out of high
school are advised to take this test.
Sophomores & freshmen can take it for
practice.

PSAT Booklets: If you
registered during summer registration, you
will receive your PSAT Bulletin in your
English class during the first week of
school. If you registered but did not
receive a booklet, please check with your
English teacher or see Mrs. Dillon. Read
this booklet!! There is a practice SAT
test and suggestions on how to take the
test.

Please call attention
to the special schedule today - period 1
will be slightly extended. Also remind 8
th graders that they must hurry to catch
their busses (in front of the
Administration building) back to their
respective middle schools at the end of
class. They have no time to visit and
chit-chat.

PSAT Booklets: for the
students who registered for the PSAT test
during summer will be sent out to English
classes within the first week of school.
Please ONLY distribute to the students
whose names appear on the booklets ASAP.
Not all students registered for this test!
Questions - call x7964. I will be need
proctors for this test on Sat., 10/18.
Interested? Complete the flyer in your
mailbox and return to M. Dillon in
counseling. There is a gratuity for
proctoring and you are done by noon.
