What's that noise? It's the annual THS Pre-Homecoming Game Parade. It starts at 6:30pm in the Pit Parking Lot, goes east on Plaza del Amo, right on Arlington, right onto Lincoln then into Zamperini Stadium at 6:40 p.m. Please be on sidewalks along the route or in the stands of the stadium to cheer and look for your favorite Top 32 Senior!!

PSAT Test Takers: Room assignments for PSAT test are posted on the doors to the library and on the doors to the administration building. Be sure to check to make sure your name is on it and you know where to report! Don't forget to report to school on Sat., Oct. 18, no later than 7:45 am for the PSAT test. You must have a photo I.D. to take this test. No I.D.--no test!! Bring #2 pencils and your calculator. Be sure to consult your test booklet for approved calculators. If you don't see your name on the list, see Mrs. Dillon immediately!

Show your creative side in the PTSA Reflections Contest. This year's National PTA theme is WOW. Information flyers are available in the Activities Office. CSU applications: If you need to send your SAT or ACT test scores to the any of the CSU campuses you can do so by using just one code number and it will go to all of them--so you pay for one sending instead of multiples. The code for both ACT and SAT for the CSU system is 3594. UC does not have a code like this and you must send the scores to the individual campuses. Don't forget to send your scores to the college campuses. The scores must come directly from the testing service (SAT--Collegeboard.com and ACT --ACT.org).

Attention Teachers: Please be sure to click "Attendance Taken" when posting your daily class entries even if you have NO Absences. If you do not, it shows up as "Attendance Not Taken" on your Teacher Summary Report. According to Arlene in Accounting this is a "negative" to the Auditors. Therefore it is very important that you post daily!

We have about 425 students signed up to for the PSAT test on Sat., 10/18. More than half the junior class and about half of the sophomore class. If you have these grade levels in your classes, please give the students daily reminders about the test. More than 300 students signed up during summer and may have forgotten that they are on the list. Thank you!
