Did you take a Marymount class on South High campus this past summer ? If you would like it placed on your transcript please provide your counselor with a report card from Marymount. If you do not have one you will need to call Marymount and have it sent to you. If you took a class at any other campus than Torrance High and would like the class put on your transcript you must provide your counselor with a transcript or report card from that school. If you took a class at a community college please meet with your counselor so they can explain the advantages and possible disadvantages of having the class placed on your high school transcript.

If you have at least a 3.0 GPA and planning to major in American History or Political Science, apply for the American History/Political Science H.S. Senior Scholarship. Pick up an application in the counseling office. Deadline-11/3/08.

CSU applications: If you need to send your SAT or ACT test scores to the any of the CSU campuses you can do so by using just one code number and it will go to all of them--so you pay for one sending instead of multiples. The code for both ACT and SAT for the CSU system is 3594. UC does not have a code like this and you must send the scores to the individual campuses. Don't forget to send your scores to the college campuses. The scores must come directly from the testing service (SAT--Collegeboard.com and ACT --ACT.org).
