Congratulations to:

ASB and Class Councils for delivering an important and artistic Red Ribbon Week message to all the Tartars! You did a great job decorating the campus.

THS Troubadours, Vocal Express and Mr. Wright for a lovely Classical Concert. It was a terrific night filled with talented Tartars!

CAHSEE MAKEUP TESTING will be given to all 11th and 12th grade students still needing to pass on Nov. 4 th & 5 th, 2008 from 8:00 a.m to 12:20 p.m. in the Library and Little Theatre. English-Language Arts will be administered on Tues., Nov. 4th and Mathematics will be administered on Wed., Nov. 5. Students are to report to the testing locations by 7:45 a.m. each day with two sharpened #2 pencils and their current picture id. Out-of-class lists will be posted in classrooms; check them if you are unsure of your status. Remember: students must pass both parts of the CAHSEE to earn their high school diplomas.

Tuesday, November 4 is a very important day for Americans. Please go out and vote. Everyone who is 18 years old is eligible to vote on Tuesday. Get registered and VOTE for president and 2 important bond issues.

CSU applications: If you need to send your SAT or ACT test scores to the any of the CSU campuses you can do so by using just one code number and it will go to all of them--so you pay for one sending instead of multiples. The code for both ACT and SAT for the CSU system is 3594. UC does not have a code like this and you must send the scores to the individual campuses. Don't forget to send your scores to the college campuses. The scores must come directly from the testing service (SAT--Collegeboard.com and ACT --ACT.org).
